Meet George A Mighion DDS

George A Mighion DDS has delivered stellar dental services since 1996. Initially, Dr. George grew up in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, but later moved to South Bend after his father passed away in 1979. After graduating from Marian High School in 1988, he went south to Bloomington. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in America Military History in 1992 from Indiana University. He returned to South Bend after graduating from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1996. Finally, in 2003, he moved his newly purchased dental practice to Mishawaka and expanded the facility to care for more patients.

Focused on Pushing the Industry Forward

Dr. George uses a modern holistic approach to his dentistry. He believes in looking at how one’s dental health may be affecting their overall health and well-being. Dr. George has trained with some of the most recognized dentists in the world such as the prestigious Hornbook Group for cosmetic dentistry and The New York Implant Institute for dental implants. Additionally, he was a participant in the Mini Residency for Sleep and Breathing under Dr. Olomos, and was trained in Oral Conscious Sedation by DOCS and cosmetic braces thru Six Month Smiles.

Dr. George belongs to the American Dental Association (ADA), Indiana Dental Association (IDA), North Central Dental Society (NCDS), and the Mishawka Dental Association (MDS). He is a member to these professional groups: Doctors of Oral Conscious Sedation (DOCS), American Academy of Sleep Medicine(AASOM), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOC).

Dr. George was a clinical instructor at the IUSB Hygiene School from 1996 to 1998. He also has served as the secretary of the NCDS and the past president of the MDS. He currently is the treasure for the NCDS and also serves on the local peer review committee. Dr. George regularly volunteers at Sister Maura Brannick Health Center and participates in the Donated Dental Program. Additionally, Dr. George has been a long time active member of the Granger Sunrise Rotary Club and Mishawaka Business Association.

While working as an associate, Dr. George met Christine, who was practicing dental hygiene at that time. They wed in 2001 and have two children, Cheyenne and Athan. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family especially at the lake where they enjoy water sports. He also enjoys playing racquetball, golf, and softball, target shooting, reading, but his true passion outside the dental office is traveling and scuba diving. He is an avid Detroit Tiger, Detroit Lion, IU, and University of Michigan football fan.

Meet Mackenzie WIlliams, DDS

Dr. Mackenzie Williams is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and is proud to say that she received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Biology at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. “I was drawn to dentistry because I like the marriage of a solid scientific, evidence-based foundation to maintain good oral health with the artistic techniques needed to maintain a beautiful and natural smile.” Dr. Williams is an avid learner and she is excited to explore new technologies and treatments that will not only enhance the dental experience, but also optimize oral health.
Dr. Williams enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and reading. She is excited to now call the Michiana area home and is looking forward to exploring everything the area has to offer.
